Insurance is optional - For Customers deciding to purchase the insurance coverage, please submit the Declaration of Values form 5 working days before the packing day. (*For Customers in Hong Kong only).

⚠️ Notes：

• Insurance minimum charge is HK$1,100 (i.e. Total declared replacement value is HK$40,000), Declared Replacement Value (HK$) x 2.75% = Insurance Charge (HK$)

• No one item and/or set can be more than 50% of the total insured value (i.e. if the total insured value is HK$40,000, no single item can be over HK$21,000)

• Note that the value of items shall be in its "Replacement Value". Meaning if you have a Lego purchased in 1997, you should input its replacement value (to purchase a new one) but not the value of when you purchased. Though I.T.I will inspect and verify all reported damages and to require substantiation of any claimed amounts, values of items claimed or proof of ownership. 

• Additional coverage: Pairs and Sets P&S / Mechanical and Electrical M&E

  • Pairs and Sets - Replacement value will be for the entire set. For example, if you purchased an entire set of speakers and any damage to one particular speaker will result in the entire set becoming non-serviceable, the insurance company will cover according to the entire set's value.

  • Mechanical and Electrical: coverage of mechanical parts

  • Please remark (*) for items that requires P&S / M&E coverage and fill in the Total Value of the items under Accept / Decline section.

• PBO = Packed By Owner. Items packed by the owner, I.T.I. will only cover when it's in Total Loss (e.g. whole box missing)

• Items packed by our workers will have Partial Damage Protection (i.e. if a chair leg is chipped, the insurance company may cover the repairing cost in ratio)

• Example : 
  Total declared value = HK$40,000 
  Pairs and Sets (Accept), value = HK$15,000
  Total Insured Value = (40,000 x 2.75%) + (15,000 x 1.50%) = HK$1325

• Accepted Currency: HKD, USD, CAD, GBP

 

*Customers are responsible to read the Terms and Conditions of the Insurance Declaration Form. We are a moving company and unable to affect the decision of the insurance company. For any claims or questions, the Customer will have to contact the insurance company directly. If there is any discrepancy, the terms and conditions in the policy shall prevail. ITI Inter Trans Insurance Inc. reserves the right of final approval and decision.
